Meteora can be visited by land, sea, and air. This site was constructed by Meteora Monks back in the fourteenth century where they were, against all odds, able to construct such prominent structures on the tops of these cliffs. It is the religious drive that allowed the construction of these great structures. Now, millions from across the globe have traveled to see such an accomplishment with their own eyes.
