The Turkish name meaning 'cotton castle' is the perfect visionary phrase for the unusual natural landscapes found in the Denizli Province. Rock terraces and travertines are constantly inundated by the famous hot springs flowing slowly over the rock, leaving behind salt and mineral deposits that change the color of the landscape into a brilliant and pristine white sea. This incredible site is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and attracts more than two million visitors per annum.
