Not so far away and just across the border in Baja California is another city waiting to be explored It can be a little busy in the winter, but it means you'll avoid the big storms in the summer and get the chance to do some whale watching if you arrive around December. This city's the perfect example of how you don't have to go too far or to anything too popular to experience something awesome for a winter break student trip. In other words, it's a little paradise just south of the U.S. border and within most students' budgets. Typically referred to as Cabo San Lucas, this part of Mexico is within the state of Baja California Sur, and is considered along with its neighbor to be Los Cabos. They are popular destinations for all times of the year, especially for those who really enjoy scuba diving and relaxing on the beach. The nightlife is also a common thing to participate in for students who visit for their breaks. If you're looking for somewhere to go for your winter break, definitely do not discount San Lucas. It has a lot to offer! Head over to a phenomenal spot in Florida for the next destination.
