In other words, it's a little paradise just south of the U.S. border and within most students' budgets. Typically referred to as Cabo San Lucas, this part of Mexico is within the state of Baja California Sur, and is considered along with its neighbor to be Los Cabos. They are popular destinations for all times of the year, especially for those who really enjoy scuba diving and relaxing on the beach. The nightlife is also a common thing to participate in for students who visit for their breaks. If you're looking for somewhere to go for your winter break, definitely do not discount San Lucas.
