Unforgettable Places To Visit In China

6. Xi'an

Unknown

Another great spot flooded with eager tourists on a daily basis is Xi'an, a large city and the capital of Shanxi province in Central China. Acting as a transportation hub for this region of China, Xi'an provides many different styles of getting from one destination to another, a large part of this particular city's success. However, there is a more significant attraction here widely regarded as one of the most significant heritage sites, not only in Xi'an but also the world. A cultural icon was buried here generations ago with the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang: the Terracotta Army, which are thousands of life-sized hand carved stone soldiers, meant to protect the buried site and leader in his afterlife. With the marvelous scale and craftsmanship of the Terracotta Army, not much can top such a spectacle. But, the next Chinese destination is certainly a fierce competitor.
