The Cook Islands, a nation in the South Pacific, is an ideal place to go for sun and fun. Tour Aitutaki Lagoon, wade in the water, and relax in the peaceful quiet surrounding the area. For some unforgettable snorkeling, spot colorful fish at the Aroa Marine Reserve, and when you want a change of pace, take a glass-bottom boat tour or get your drink on at a brewery. Many of the restaurants offer healthy, vegetarian fare, but there is plenty of seafood to be found in the Polynesian dishes as well.
