Top Retirement Destinations

8. Spain

Unknown

Next up is Spain, consistently ranked from year to year as one of the top ten destinations to retire in the world. Known for arts, culture and beautiful architecture, there is plenty to do and see here including UNESCO heritage sites such as Basilica, Alhambra and much more. A comfortable environment may be found most destinations in Spain, which is perfect for those seeking temperate climate. Cost of living here is affordable and, again, healthcare costs are incredibly low compared to those that will be common in the USA. Favorite spots such as Barcelona and Madrid are great choices, however more unique places offer new and unique living experience with beautiful flora and fauna to explore as well, such as Malaga and Valencia.
